Warning! Before making any decision to purchase property or before making any investments in Honduras, you should consider that to be high-risk capital, and do lots of research. We have been combating the government for the last eight years trying to get back nearly 400 acres infested by squatters that have literally built a neighborhood on it, and the government although they agree this is not right has done nothing to compensate us to get the property back. This has been a huge issue with all foreigners and you should exercise an extreme amount of caution before entering in to any business in Honduras.
